PY2026 STATE OF WEST VIRGINIA ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
The West Virginia Department of Economic Development (WVDED) and the West Virginia Housing Development Fund (WVHDF) are conducting public hearings to receive input in the development of the State of West Virginia’s FY 2026 Annual Action Plan (AAP). The FY2026 AAP will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) 45 days prior to July 1, 2026, but no later than August 16, 2026. Lifeline Support Program
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) ended in June 2024, and as of 2026, the Lifeline Support program and various state or provider-specific low-income plans are the primary options for affordable internet. Lifeline is a federal program that lowers the monthly cost of phone or internet service.
